Water tariffs up from 1 Sept.

Water tariffs will be increased with effect from 1 September.

A Gazette to this effect was issued yesterday.

For units 00-05, Rs. 20 per unit and Service Charge of Rs. 300. From units 75 upwards, Rs. 238 per unit and Service Charge Rs. 3,500.
