WindForce PLC said yesterday it has entered into an agreement for the engineering design, procurement, and commissioning (EPC) of a 366 kWp rooftop solar PV power project at Cocoon Island, Maldives.
The client for this project is Cocoon Investment Ltd., and the initiative aims to harness sustainable solar energy to substantially reduce the resort’s carbon footprint.
The duration of the project is six months and the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) cost is $ 296,372.
“This project underscores our firm commitment to advancing sustainable energy solutions and reducing carbon emissions. By aligning with long-term economic growth, we are proud to support green energy initiatives that contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable future,” WindForce said in a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange.
