Blockchain Centre, styling itself as the world’s first non-profit education and knowledge hub dedicated to driving blockchain technology, is to set up operations in Sri Lanka this week.

“Blockchain Centre Sri Lanka” will be launched today at a ceremony in Colombo attended by Foreign Affairs Ministers Ali Sabry PC. The event is lifted to global visibility by the Blockchain subject experts and Investors visiting from over 10 countries to Colombo.

The first Blockchain Centre was established in 2014 in Melbourne. To date, its global network as a FinTech community is in 16 centres spanning 14 countries and 16 cities including China, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Lithuania, Colombia, Montenegro, Pakistan, Russia, Thailand and India.

Blockchain Centre has five key pillars leveraging local partners in each country to build knowledge, gain regulatory support, and drive investment as a trustworthy blockchain community that increases the social impact of blockchain technology in the respective countries.

Similarly for Sri Lanka, Blockchain Centre brings together Web3 enthusiasts, DApp developers, FinTech entrepreneurs from various countries to build the Internet industry.

Its experienced executives delivering country digital transformation with high-quality technical talents aims to build a blockchain talent ecosystem in Sri Lanka with a sequence of education, regulation, investment, employment and innovation as a framework.

Blockchain Centre Sri Lanka is committed to Sri Lanka’s vision of digital economy by building an ‘Academy’ for blockchain technical talents and promote international exchanges and cooperation to enhance the international influence of the Web3 expansion in Sri Lanka as an industry ecology.

Blockchain Centre is a leading provider of blockchain solutions and services that can help businesses and organisations save time and resources when implementing blockchain technology. The company offers a wide range of services and acts as a one-stop shop for all new and existing projects of the Web3 space, specialising in tokenomics, product development and fundraising.

It says one of the biggest challenges of implementing blockchain technology is the lack of expertise and resources available. Blockchain is a relatively new field, and there are not many experts with extensive knowledge and experience in the technology. This can make it difficult for businesses to find the right people to help them implement blockchain solutions and overcome challenges along the way.

Blockchain Centre solves this problem by offering a wealth of resources and support for businesses and individuals looking to adopt blockchain.
