World’s oldest elected PM!

The 92-year-old veteran Mahathir Mohamad was sworn in as Malaysia’s seventh prime minister by Sultan Muhammad V at the palace in Kuala Lumpur yesterday in a development that makes him the oldest elected Premier. Mahathir led the coalition as Malaysia’s Prime Minister for 22 years, starting in 1981 and had never lost an election campaign as proved again on Wednesday.
