With reference to the article titled ‘Sri Lanka gets $ 200 m ADB assistance for skills development,’ which appeared yesterday, the Asian Development Bank in a statement said that ADB is preparing a $ 100 million results-based loan called Skills Sector Enhancement Program to support the Government’s Skills Sector Development Program. Negotiations on the loan were successfully completed on 17 February 2014 and the ADB Board meeting to consider the loan is planned in March 2014.
