Age limit for State accountants service upped

It has been decided to extend the age limit of the Open Competitive Examination to recruit officers to the Sri Lanka Accountants’ Service up to 30 years upon the approval of the Public Service Commission.

The Gazette notification with the relevant revisions is due to be issued in early April 2012.

The deadline for receiving applications for the open competitive examination to recruit officers to the Sri Lanka Accountants’ Service which is scheduled to be held in the year 2012 is 23 April 2012 and the Ministry of Finance and Planning informs those who are interested to send their applications to the Commissioner General of Examinations before the deadline as it will remain unchanged. Those who have already sent their applications are not required to resend them.
