Ajith Wattuhewa appointed 18th President of FCCISL

Ajith Wattuhewa took reins as the 18th President of FCCISL at its 38th Annual General Meeting held on 30 December 2013 at the FCCISL Board Room. Wattuhewa was appointed to the Federation Board in 2008. He is the Chairman/Managing Director of Central Pre Cured Retreads Ltd., Asian International Promoters Ltd., Master Media Networks and Y Entertainment.

Wattuhewa holds a National Diploma in Polymer Technology with specialisation in tyre retreading and fibre glass boat building from the University of Moratuwa. With over 15 years of experience in chamber activities, Wattuhewa initiated the formation of Kalutara and Gampaha District chambers and the Provincial Chamber in Uva. He was the Founder Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Uva Province in 1996 and presently serves on the Uva Chamber Board as the founder Chairman.
