Amana Bank Ltd. saw its share price dip by 16% on its debut at the Colombo Stock Exchange.
Whilst its successful IPO was at Rs. 7 per share, the stock hit an intra-day high of Rs. 7.10 and a low of Rs. 5.80 before closing at Rs. 5.90, down by Rs. 1.10 or 15.7%.
Amana Bank saw 6.69 million of its shares changing hands via 424 trades creating a turnover of Rs. 45.6 million.
Via its IPO, first in banking sector in over two years, Amana raised Rs. 1.5 billion in December.
