Asanga to join CSE Board

Top fund manager turned entrepreneur cum investor Asanga Seneviratne is likely to be appointed to the Board of Directors of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) at its Annual General Meeting on 25 June.

Sources said that Asanga, who represents Nation Lanka Equities, has been nominated as the replacement to retiring Dr. Saman Kelegama, representative of SC Securities.

The CSE Board comprises of five broker nominees and four appointed members.  Last week, Ray Abeywardena was appointed as nominee of Acuity Stockbrokers, a joint venture between HNB and DFCC in place of Rajendra Theagarajah who is leaving HNB shortly.
