Bloomberg TV yesterday interviewed Central Bank Governor Nivard Cabraal, SEC Chairman Dr. Nalaka Godahewa and CSE Chairman Krishan Balendra on the sidelines of the Invest Sri Lanka Forum in Hong Kong.
Cabraal in his slot of over six minutes in Bloomberg TV’s “Asia Edge” program spoke about the prospects for the country’s economic growth, the local currency and monetary policy.
Cabraal revealed that latest 2nd quarter data reveals economy has grown by 7% giving him confidence that country was on target to achieve 7.5% growth for 2013
Godahewa, in his over 3 minutes interview in Bloomberg TV’s “First Up” program spoke about the nation’s economy, stock market and climate for foreign investments. Also in the same program, Balendra for around 4 minutes spoke about the impact Federal Reserve monetary policy is having on Asian markets, Sri Lanka’s economy and the outlook for the bourse.
