BOC Chief joins Sunshine Holdings Board

Air Chief Marshal (Retired) Harsha Duminda Abeywickrama, currently the Chairman of Bank of Ceylon, has been appointed to the Board of Sunshine Holdings PLC with effect from 30 June.

Abeywickrama is a graduate of the Air Command and Staff College at Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, USA and the Royal College of Defence Studies, London UK. He holds a Master of Arts degree in International Studies from King’s College, the University of London, and a Master of Science Degree in Management from the Kotalawala Defence University, Sri Lanka. Following the latest appointment, the Board of Directors of Sunshine Holdings Plc comprises Rienzie T. Wijetilleke (Chairman), V. Govindasamy (Group Managing Director), S.G. Sathasivam, B.A. Hulangamuwa, G. Sathasivam, A. Hollingsworth, N.B. Weerasekera, U.L. Kadurugamuwa, M. Shaikh and H.D. Abeywickrama.
