Bread gets dearer

The price of a loaf of bread (450g) has been increased by Rs. 4, the Bakery Owners’ Association announced yesterday.

Under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act, the maximum retail price of wheat flour (unpacketted) was set at Rs. 87 per kilogram earlier.
