Bridgestone rolls out new generation ultra high performance sports tyre

BRIDGESTONE has developed a new flagship UHP tyre for the world’s top sports cars: the Potenza S001.

Designed for maximum sports performance, the tyre also delivers high efficiency with reduced rolling resistance. Already factory fitted on the Aston Martin Rapide and Ferrari 458 Italia, the Potenza S001 has been available in the European replacement market since January 2010.

The first set of Potenza S001 tyres were imported by the sole distributors The Autodrome Plc on a special request of Surein Edirisinghe of Edirisinghe Bros Ltd., the pioneer automobile engineers, for use on his Subaru Sti 9 Spec-C rally performance sports car.
