CA Sri Lanka to ceremonially induct 22nd President today

The country’s national body of accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) will ceremonially induct Arjuna Herath as the 22nd President today, 21 January, at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.
The induction ceremony will be held under the patronage of Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal and President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Warren Allen, who is in the country on a four-day official visit on the invitation of CA Sri Lanka.
Herath, who is a partner of Ernst & Young, is well-known personality in the corporate world in Sri Lanka and is also the incumbent Vice President of the South Asian Federation of Accountants, a SAARC body.
His two-year term as President of CA Sri Lanka will end in December 2015.
