Cabinet reshuffle finally happening!

The much reported yet to date elusive Cabinet reshuffle is now expected to take place this week.

Political sources said President Maithripala Sirisena has been emphatic and, in agreement with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, will make the changes later this week.

Wickremesinghe, who is in China at the moment, will return Tuesday after which the Cabinet reshuffle will take place. 

Meanwhile, there was speculation that Prime Minister is expected to make an important statement today.
