CEMS-Global USA’s ‘Sri Lanka International Auto Show 2014’ kicks off at SLECC

‘Sri Lanka International Auto Show 2014’, a professional International Auto Show for the automotive world of Sri Lanka kicked off at the Sri Lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre yesterday. The International Show has been organised by CEMS-Global Conference & Exhibition Management Services Ltd. – USA in association with ‘CEMS Lanka’, a Multinational Exhibition Organiser. The show will run till 15 June 2014 daily from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Minister of Transport Kumara Welgama MP inaugurated the Sri Lanka International Auto Show 2014 today as the Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony. Also present at the Opening Ceremony were Sri Lanka Convention Bureau CEO/GM Vipula Wanigasekera, CEMS-Global USA & Asia-Pacific Group CEO S.S. Sarwar and CEMS Lanka Country Director Ejaz Sarwar. Since its inception in 1992, CEMS-Global, in this span of over 22 years has made a commendable presence in South & South-East Asia as a Multinational Exhibition Organiser with operations in seven countries and organising over 40 exhibitions in six countries per annum on all important sectors of the trade and economy. The Sri Lanka International Auto Show 2014 is a glittering showcase of Vehicles auto-component industry. It reveals to the country, the rapid developments in the industry and also is a launching-pad for latest vehicles where the world famous Royal Enfield Bikes have debted some of their models in the show. The show showcases vehicle importers and dealers along with Leasing companies, Lubricant Companies and Automotive Component Manufacturers & Suppliers from Sri Lanka and abroad. With the country growing a strong Middle-class segment, the rise in sales of motor vehicles has surged to newer heights in Sri Lanka, which is one of a strong South-Asian Nation with its booming economy the Sri Lanka International Auto Show will set to be the leading platform of vehicle sellers and buyers and the auto-component industry. The neat layouts of the show provide ample opportunity to the consumers of vehicles to see the latest offerings in the market as well as to the business visitor to carry out networking in a highly enabled environment. The Auto Show is therefore not only a networking ground, but also a place to find business partners and strategic alliances for manufacturing, outsourcing, sub-contracting, design and development as well as direct marketing.
