Chairperson, two Directors quit Hotel Developers Board

The Chairperson and two Directors have resigned from the Board of Hotel Developers (Lanka) Plc.

In a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange, the company said Chairperson and Non-Executive Director Sagarika Delgoda, and two other Non-Executive Directors, J.M. Soosaithasan and Ananda de Silva, have have resigned. 

The resignation appears to pave way for the appointment of a new set of Board Directors. 

Six other Non-Executive Directors who were appointed previously by Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake when the company came under the Finance Ministry haven’t announced their resignations yet. They are D.S Ameresekere, J.S. Fernando, P. Maharaja, S.P. Dissanayake, A. Senanayake and J.M.U.P. Jayamaha.

The company now comes under the Public Enterprise Development Ministry.
