Citrus buys 51% stake in Lotus Travel

Citrus Leisure Plc yesterday informed the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) that the company has acquired a 51% stake of Lotus Travels International.

In the letter released by the CSE, the company stated that Citrus Leisure invested Rs. 612,000 at the rate of Rs. 10 per share on 2 August 2011.

Lotus Travel International was incorporated on 8 November 2004 to carry on business as a travel agent and company is led by Directors D.P. Perera, D.S. Wickramasekara and S.D. Amerasinghe.                 

The 120,000 shares that were bought are shared between Citrus Leisure Plc (61,200 shares), Divasa Equity Limited (39,600 shares), Rayynor Silva (15,600 shares) and Tennekoon Arachchilage Thomas Christopher Lasantha Alfred Aloysius Perera.
