CodeGen first movers to Trace Expert City Colombo

CodeGen Interna-tional Ltd., an innovative IT company catering to the global travel tourism industry software solution market, ceremoniously opened its 30,000sqft modern office premises at the Trace Expert City Colombo. The launch was held under the patronage of Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Urban Development Authority (UDA) Chairman Nimal Perera, dignitaries from the Sri Lankan Army and the management of CodeGen. CodeGen became the first corporate to enter the Expert City which is developed under the guidance of the Ministry of Defence, The Urban Development Authority and the Sri Lankan Army, and supervised by TRACE. The CodeGen new office embraces its 100-year-old historical warehouse and modern architecture. CodeGen’s office space has been renovated and refurbished to create a chic workplace that includes ample space with open bricks architecture giving a totally new industrial ambience to the trade centre earlier used by the English. The office premises include development areas, meeting rooms and brainstorming areas, presenting a new generation modern work environment with a contemporary interior. The eco friendly architecture of the office is designed to bring out the innovation and creativity within the minds of the technology experts. Upcoming features include a fully-equipped gymnasium, walking tracks and other recreational facilities within the premises, which will help employees relax as well as keep themselves healthy. Speaking about the launch of its new office premises, CodeGen CEO Dr. Harsha Subasinghe said: “As a pioneer and innovator in the IT sector, we are honoured to be the first occupant in this industrial changing concept.” Upbeat about the new move, he added: “CodeGen as a company which innovates leading solutions to the international market, with 100% knowledge and skills of locals, we think this move is a perfect fit for our future expansion plans.
