The District Court of Colombo yesterday issued an enjoining order on the application of Serene Pavilion Ltd., preventing Anura Lokuhetti acting or representing as the Chief Executive Officer of Serene Pavilion.
In this case the Plaintiff brought to the notice of the Court that withstanding the termination of services by the legitimate Board of Directors of Serene Pavilion, Lokuhetti is continuing to represent it as the CEO and hinder the administration of the company.
In the light of the said fact, the Court being apprised of the grave conduct on the part of Lokuhetti and recognising the right of the Board of Directors of the company to run the general affairs of the company, issued the said enjoining order as prayer ‘D’ of the Plaint and the enjoining was extended till 9 April 2014.
