The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) in a statement yesterday extended its sincere congratulations to newly-elected President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and members of the new Cabinet.
In a congratulatory message, COYLE Chairman Sanjaya Jayaratne said: “On behalf of COYLE, I extend our warmest congratulations to President Sirisena and Prime Minister Wickremesinghe and wish them all the success in the tasks ahead. As a representative body of young Lankan entrepreneurs, we look forward to working closely with the newly appointed Cabinet and Government and believe that together, we can ensure a brighter future for our country.”
COYLE has been continuously focusing on promoting entrepreneurship development while actively taking part in matters of national importance through dialogue, discussions and representations to create a business-friendly environment in the country. Members of COYLE often get involved in stimulating positive feedback and exchanging information in formulating policies and regulations relevant to private sector development.
Jayaratne added: “Entrepreneurs make up a majority of the business community and play a crucial role in the nation’s development. As such, we welcome a stable and business friendly environment to enable further growth, contribute to employment and ensure increased development at all levels.”
