Daily FT’s Shabiya is Biz Journalist of the Year

Daily FT journalist Shabiya Ali Ahlam last night won the Best Business Journalist of the Year (English) Award at the coveted annual Journalism Awards for Excellence competition organised by The Editors’ Guild of Sri Lanka. Daily FT in its five year history has been the most frequent recipient of this award. Here Shabiya receives the award from Ada newspaper editor Kanchana Dassanayake at the awards ceremony held at Mt. Lavinia Hotel
