Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, is inviting readers of the Daily FT and the Weekend FT to celebrate the launch of its service to the Swedish capital Stockholm by participating in a themed quiz.
Starting Tuesday, 1 October, the Daily FT and the Weekend FT will publish one question a day for 10 days, offering readers a chance to win a bag of Emirates goodies, including an exclusive Emirates First Class amenity kit, a Stockholm branded gift, a model of the Boeing 777-200 LR aircraft operated on the route and an Emirates branded travel wallet.
Each daily coupon will feature a trivia question about Stockholm/Sweden or Emirates. Participants will have a week to send in their coupon and all correct entries received will be submitted into a prize draw for one of the 10 goody bags.
“Emirates launched its flights from Dubai to the Swedish capital on 5 September. The city is an important centre for business, industry and services in Scandinavia,” said Chandana de Silva, the airline’s Area Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives.
“It is also is a vibrant city with many historical and cultural attractions, including fabulous restaurants and great entertainment. We hope this promotion will help Sri Lankans learn a little more about the destination and perhaps even plan a visit.”
Emirates now operates daily non-stop services to Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport. The Boeing 777-200LR aircraft operating on the route is well-appointed with eight luxurious private suites in First Class, 42 lie-flat seats in Business Class and ample space for 216 customers in Economy Class.
