Central Bank Governor Nivard Cabraal on Tuesday told a forum of business leaders that the end of terror in the north has given a new livelihood for 200 war widows and their families employed in a venture that exports crab meat to the US.

“The entrepreneur told me that his monthly wage bill is Rs. 4 million, paid out of export proceeds from the US, and this money remains within the community in Jaffna,” Cabraal said, during his comments at SLID’s Regulator's Forum.
