Ex-Bloomberg UK staffer, events specialist joins Kingsbury board

Former Bloomberg UK staffer and hospitality and events specialist Isabel Jamaldeen has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Kingsbury Plc with effect from last week. She will join The Kingsbury board as Alternate Director to Dhammika Perera, Deputy Chairman of Hayleys. Previously, Isabel was the Hospitality Manager at Bloomberg in London and Conference Consultant at Expotel. The Kingsbury said she has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, leading all corporate events for Bloomberg in London. Her main focus was the planning and execution of high profile events for leaders in politics and finance. Prior to Bloomberg, Isabel worked as an events manager for Mint, one of London’s most renowned events and catering business, focusing on high profile events in and around London. She also has a track record of working in various departments of leading hotels throughout Europe. Currently, Isabel is the founder of Gem Atelier London, an online jewellery business that mainly sells to the European market. She has also developed an exclusive jewellery business focusing on bespoke pieces for high profile clients. Isabel has a very strong background in the hospitality industry with a diploma in hotel operations and management from Glion School in Switzerland. She holds a Bachelor of Business from Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia as well as an MBA from the International University of Applied Sciences in Bad Honnef, Germany.
