Faiszer Musthapha to address Indian Economic Summit

Investment Promotion Deputy Minister Faiszer Musthapha will attend the India Economic Summit (IES) today (4) at the Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi, India.
The World Economic Forum in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will host the India Economic Summit in New Delhi from 4 to 6 November under the theme ‘Redefining Public-Private Cooperation for a New Beginning’.
He will address the meeting today on the topic ‘Tourism and Tourism-Related Investment Opportunities in Sri Lanka’.
Parallel to the summit, Musthapha will meet India State for Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today to discuss the two countries’ investment opportunities.
This year’s summit will focus on issues such as gender equality, smart cities and climate change, apart from business and industry, and will see 700 participants from 45 countries. Union Ministers such as Arun Jaitley, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitaraman, Smriti Irani, Nitin Gadkari and Piyush Goyal are expected to attend.
