State Minister of Aviation Faiszer Mustapha yesterday told the media that he has tendered his resignation to pursue his legal career. He said that the resignation was tendered due to personal and professional reasons. However, the former Minister said that he would continue to support the President and the Prime Minister. “I don’t need ministerial portfolios or positions to provide service for public or to support good governance,” Mustapha said. However, he said he would contest the forthcoming general election and expected to win. A lawyer by profession, Mustapha said he intended to continue with his legal practice. However, it was earlier reported that Mustapha was disillusioned at the responsibilities he was given as a State Minister as well as in the allocation of subjects under his purview.
