FCID questions Dilith

The Financial Crimes Investigation Department (FCID) yesterday questioned Dilith Jayaweera over issues connected to Lanka Hospitals Corporation Plc, whose one-time Chairman was former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The questioning, lasting for around 40 minutes, sought to ascertain, among other things, whether he had any knowledge of the sale of shareholding of Lanka Hospitals between Distilleries and a foreign party.
