Final touches on Budget 2016?

Final preparations in the formulation of the 2016 budget to be presented in Parliament on 20 November are now being made at the Ministry of Finance. Yet another discussion prior to final touches being put to the budget was held yesterday at the Ministry under the patronage of Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake. Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Dr. R.H.S. Samaratunga, Deputy Secretary S.R. Attygalle, Director General of the Department of Public Finance A.K. Seneviratne, Director General of the Department of National Budget A.R. Deshapriya, Director of Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Finance Dimuthu Samaratunga and Advisor, Income Tax of the Ministry of Finance Thanuja Perera were also present on the occasion.
