Lanka Century Investments Plc (GREG) yesterday sold around 6% stake out of an overall 20% in Browns Investments Plc.
The stake amounting to 244 million shares was sold at Rs. 1.50 each in a deal worth Rs. 366 million, which was 61% of the total turnover at the Bourse yesterday.
The buyer is believed to be Kemantha Amarasekera, a Director in Browns Investments Plc.
As at end September, Lanka Century held 744 million shares or 20% stake in Browns Investments Plc.
