Hayleys share price up Rs. 6.50

PERHAPS linked to the news of Dhammika Perera’s elevation to Deputy Chairman, Hayleys Plc was the only diversified holding blue chip to enjoy a sharp rise in the share price in an otherwise bearish market.

On a volume of 55,000 shares Hayleys gained to a high of Rs. 370 before closing at Rs. 369.90, up by Rs. 6.50 from Wednesday.
