Over a dozen of high potential young business leaders of the country are to benefit from a top level South Asian forum organised by the Eisenhower Fellowships Association of Sri Lanka (EFASL) in Colombo from 27 to 29 September.
Organisers said 15 employers nominated young business leaders will attend the Eisenhower Fellowships South Asia Conference 2012, titled ‘South Asia on the Move: Achieving its Full Potential in the 21st Century’ in Colombo and join similar peers from the region. They will also attend an orientation program to become aware and mindful of what happens within oneself and in the external environment and be fast, precise and decisive in performing the role as a leader.
The events are organised by the Eisenhower Fellowships Alumni Association of Sri Lanka along with the Alumni Fellows from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh together with the Eisenhower Fellowships Inc, Philadelphia, USA.
The program and sessions have been drawn up with eminent international speakers along with speakers from the region as key resource persons invited to address key global and regional issues, highlighting the regional leadership challenges in realising the full potential of the region.
A spokesman said 150 delegates from USA, South Asia, East Asia/Far East, Europe, Australia/NZ, African Continent and American Continent who are members of the Eisenhower Fellowships Alumni global community, together with the Trustees and the Leadership team from Eisenhower house Philadelphia have already registered to attend the conference.
The conference will in addition be attended by the 23 young mid career leaders from the region, who are to begin their fellowships in the USA immediately after the conference.
