Professor Dave Ulrich, the foremost HR thought leader, will briefly visit Sri Lanka on 30 April en route to Japan, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
He has been the pioneer in revolutionising the HR profession globally and has helped many leaders and HR professionals build their leadership brand and also transformed organisations to align their culture with customer and investor expectations. He has helped generate award winning data bases that assess alignment between strategies, organisation capabilities, HR practices, HR competencies and customer and investor results.
Prof Ulrich is also listed in Harvard’s top 50 most influential management thinkers in the world. He and a team of colleagues helped General Electric and Jack Welch design the bureaucracy-cutting Workout program.
He has also worked with Steve Jobs, the Co-Founder of Apple Inc.
With a prodigious output of HR, leadership, and organisation-related publications to his name, Ulrich has published over 200 articles and book chapters and 23 books.
He is scheduled to conduct a HR master class titled ‘The Future of HR’ at Waters Edge, Battaramulla from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and a CEO forum in the evening titled ‘Building Competitive Organisations’ organised jointly by hSenid and CIMA (SL). He is also scheduled to meet with a few top Government officials. Prof Ulrich’s visit to Sri Lanka is organised by CIMA (SL) PIM, EFC and AHRP.
