The Government has last night issued the gazette notifications approving three integrated resorts in Colombo sans explicit mention of gaming activity.
The development follows Cabinet approving the three projects.
The three integrated resorts are James Packer’s Crown Colombo, Dhammika Perera’s Queensbury both down D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha and John Keells Holdings’ Waterfront.
Some analysts said that gaming will be included and approved once formal regulations are in place for that activity. However this couldn’t be confirmed at the time of this edition went to press last night.
