Jaffna politician’s brothel raided; Five young women in custody

Colombo (Lankapuvath): A brothel which was operating from a Hotel in Jaffna town was raided by the Jaffna Police on Sunday night.

The Police arrested thirteen suspects including the owner of the hotel and five young girls who had been at the brothel when the raid was conducted.

The suspects were scheduled to be produced in Court yesterday.

   According to the Jaffna Police the brothel is owned and operated by a powerful and a prominent Tamil politician of a Tamil political party.
