The third phase of the national program to distribute land deeds among Mahaweli settlers will be held under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Girandurukotte on 19 April.
Arrangements will be made to distribute 45,000 land deeds under this program.
Land deeds will be presented to a group of Mahaweli settlers picked from the Mahaweli B Zone and the Mahaweli C Zone at this ceremony.
Earlier, 2,000 farmer families of the Mahaweli G Zone and another group of families of the Mahaweli H Zone received land deeds.
