The Daily FT and the Daily Mirror, together with Blackhall Publishing and the Lake House Bookshop Ltd., have announced that the revised laws of Sri Lanka will be available online via the websites www.dailymirror.lk, www.ft.lk and www.lakehousebookshop.com. Subscriptions for the online version of Blackhall’s Laws of Sri Lanka can be taken out for one year, six months, three months or three days. Maintaining a current statute book is of great importance to civil society, business and the public and private legal fraternity. Given the rapid nature of change in the legislative environment, it is imperative that a reliable and accessible current statement of law is available. The online version of Blackhall’s Laws of Sri Lanka will be updated in line with the promulgation of new and amending legislation by Parliament. The online edition is being launched following the success of the first edition of Blackhall’s Laws of Sri Lanka, two years ago.
