Leo Burnett and Arc Asia Pacific President visits local office

Jarek Ziebinski, President, Leo Burnett & Arc Asia Pacific, visited the Sri Lankan office to review the performance of the local office and to engage with the agency team.

He also had an opportunity to engage with many of the clients of Leo Burnett in Sri Lanka. He commended the agency on its outstanding performance in 2012 and pledged the region’s commitment to Sri Lanka.

Jarek expressed confidence in the company’s performance and also remarked on the positive environment in the country and the optimism that he has witnessed and learnt about.

Ziebinski said: “I am impressed with the progress the country has made since my last visit. I can see many changes which demonstrate that the country is on the right track. Every client I met spoke with optimism about the country and its future.

There definitely is high potential for great success in Sri Lanka.”

He added: “I am really happy to see that our office is living is up to the Leo Burnett name both creatively and in development of our people. Leo Burnett Sri Lanka is bringing fame to Sri Lanka’s creative industry with their international wins such as the first ever Cannes Lion. This makes me very happy as it reassures me that there definitely is great talent in our team in Sri Lanka.”

Jarek has 26 years of experience in the advertising and marketing industry, 17 years of which has been spent at Leo Burnett. He was Chairman and CEO of Leo Burnett Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) for close to a decade before relocating to Singapore in 2009 to take up the helm as the President for the agency-network in the Asia Pacific region. He is also a member of the Leo Burnett Worldwide Executive Leadership Team.

On Sunday the entire management team of Leo Burnett will assemble in Sri Lanka for their mid-year review meeting which is being hosted in Sri Lanka at the Jetwing Blue for the first time. Over 40 leaders from Burnett offices from across Asia Pacific will be in Sri Lanka for this very important review meeting which will be chaired by Ziebinski.
