Miss China finalists with First Lady

Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts are presently hosting the 15 pageant finalists of the Miss Universe China pageant on a tour of Sri Lanka, flown courtesy of SriLankan Airlines. The tour is part of the pageant’s official agenda, following regional selections that will culminate in the grand finale of the Miss Universe China crowning pageant, scheduled to be held on 13 September in Shanghai.

The contingent began their tour in Sri Lanka on 26 August and will depart on 1 September. Seen here are the Miss Universe China finalists with the First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo. Standing in the centre with the First Lady is Yue-Sai Khan, the Chinese American Emmy-winning television host and producer, successful entrepreneur and fashion icon, who stated that the Miss Universe China finalists truly admire the First Lady and aspire to become like her one day.
