Nihal now a member of American Bar Association

Top public interest litigant and good governance activist Nihal Sri Ameresekere has been invited and enrolled as an Associate Member of the American Bar Association.

In the past year, he has been a prolific writer having released his ninth book in a series on corruption, fraud, economic crime, governance, rule of law, dealing with real case studies, mostly incorporating cases he had filed.He is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Institute of Chartered Management Accountants of UK, Member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia, Member of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners of USA, member of the International Consortium of Governmental Financial Management, and the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities.

He started his professional practice in 1974 and currently is the Chairman Consultants 21 Ltd, described as the quintessential corporate and state sector reputed specialist and strategist.
