Nimal Perera’s lawyers fire Rs. 100 m letter of demand to Vignarajah

High networth investor Nimal Perera’s lawyers yesterday had fired a Rs. 100 million letter of demand to K.V.Vignarajah, over alleged defamatory remarks regarding formers’ comments at a seminar on Insider Trading organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors.  

Perera, a Director of several listed companies, was a panellist at the seminar whilst Vignarajah, also a stock market investor and a good corporate governance activist, was a participant.
