Several tenants of the World Trade Centre yesterday complained about the failure by owners Overseas Realty Plc to have proper generators to power the lifts.
Yesterday when there was a nationwide blackout for several hours, lifts in the 40-storey Twin Towers didn’t work despite generators being in operation.
As a result staff of tenants including top CEOs from local and global companies and other visitors had to use the stairs walking down or up multiple floors.
