No PM-Exporters meeting

In reference to the Daily FT article titled “Exporters slam forex return policy” which referred to a meeting between exporters and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, his office clarified that there was no meeting of such a nature nor was one planned in the future.

Whilst the error about a meeting per se is regretted, the Daily FT however learns exporter sentiments over the Finance Ministry move had been conveyed to the Premier.
