Beruwala Resorts Ltd., which initiated trading yesterday, advanced to touch a high of Rs. 5.50 (up 37.5%) during the first hour of trading, but witnessed a sharp plunge thereafter, to close below its introductory price at Rs. 3.50 (- 12.5%). Around 3.3 million shares of the company changed hands via 908 trades for Rs. 13.76 million turnover.
