Nothing on the table: Airtel Chief on sell-out rumours

Bharti Enterprise founder, Chairman and Group CEO Sunil Bharti Mittal has rubbished rumours about sale of Sri Lankan operations in an interview with the Economic Times newspaper, saying at present there is nothing on the table.
In response to a question by ET about Airtel looking at exiting Sri Lanka, Sunil Mittal said: “Bankers keep on bringing proposals. They will keep on churning their own combinations and options. I think these are all kite flying. But whenever there is an event, our company, being a public listed company, is obliged to make declarations and will immediately announce it. At the moment, I can say that there is nothing on the table.”
