Over 150 fund managers, investors gather to listen to Invest Sri Lanka story in S’pore

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) successfully concluded a strong pitch to the fund managers and investors based in Singapore.

The Investment Forum in Singapore was held yesterday (29) at The Ritz Carlton Millenia and was organised in association with the High Commission of Sri Lanka in Singapore. Titled ‘Invest Sri Lanka,’ the forum attracted the interest of over 150 fund managers and investors.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal, who highlighted the potential of Sri Lanka as a fast-developing investment destination. The CSE was presented to the keen audience by CSE Chairman Krishan Balendra.

The fund managers and investors in attendance got the opportunity to see the growth and potential of the CSE and the sessions were received with much enthusiasm, resulting in an overwhelming response to CSE’s investment opportunities.

The CSE will continue to showcase the potential of the market and its opportunities to fund managers and investors globally in an effort to attract more foreign investment to Sri Lanka.
