PC House PLC said last week that it is vigorously resisting the winding up application filed by a Taiwanese creditor.
In a filing to the CSE, the Company said that Kye Systems Corp, Taiwan, Republic of China, has filed an application before the High Court of the Western Province exercising civil jurisdiction (Commercial High Court).
“Our lawyers were communicating with the petitioner’s lawyers to amicably resolve the matter and they undertook not to public the notice until such time. However, the notice had been published in the newspapers on 20 December 2013. Our lawyers were discussing with the petitioner’s lawyers to withdraw the action but so far the company has not being notified of the same. The company is vigorously resisting the application,” PC House PLC said.
The original petition by Taiwanese firm was dated 21 October 2013 and was filed by K.P. Law Associates.
The notice published on 20 December 2013 stated that petition is directed to be heard before the court on 21 February 2014.
