The report on the Central Bank bond scam compiled by the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) will be debated in Parliament on 24 January.

The Opposition, especially the JVP whose MP Sunil Handunnetti is also the Chairman of COPE, has been agitating for a debate whilst Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has assured the same.
