Presidential Commission of Inquiry on bond issue meets for the first time

The Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate the Central Bank bond issue convened its inaugural session at the Supreme Court premises yesterday.

The President appointed a three-member special presidential commission to investigate the bond scam at the Central Bank.

The commission comprises Supreme Court Judges Kankani Tantri Chitrasiri, Prasanna Sujeewa Jayawardena and retired Deputy Auditor General Velupillai Kandasamy.
