Psy’s “Gangnam Style” sails past 2 billion Youtube views mark

REUTERS: If you’d forgotten about him then you might be on your own. It’s been nearly two years since the release of “Gangnam Style” – the infectious K-Pop hit that smashed records all over the world. But that hasn’t stopped the song’s video on Youtube rocketing past the 2 billion mark – cementing its status as the most watched video on the site.

To put that into context, that’s the equivalent of the populations of China, Indonesia and the United States combined. After its release in July 2012 it was also the first video to get one billion views. That’s as well as spawning a horse-riding dance craze around the world.
